Stock, shipments and sales for traders.
Sell fast. Control every container.
One place for the container, the stock in it, the sale, the money and the delivery, with the true landed cost on every unit. You know your margin the day the container lands, not at the end of the year.
- Phone first for sellers and drivers
- Cost and profit for the owner only
- Numbers without gaps, records never edited

What it does
Everything an importer's desk needs
Built for a trading office at six in the evening, not for a demo.
Container management
Log a container before it ships or when it lands: supplier, dates, USD rate, every cost field, and the models and quantities in it. It shows as arriving, selling, sold out or closed.
Products and items
Your models, SKUs, trading price and low-stock level. The cost price comes from the container it arrived in, never typed in by hand.
Stock movement
Receipts, sales, returns and adjustments in an append-only ledger, per container. Nothing is edited; a correction is a new movement with a reason.
Sales: POS and B2B
Tiles for a walk-in, invoices on terms for retailers, split payments and change due. A price below cost or past a credit limit waits for a manager.
Pre-orders
Reserve units from a container still at sea, at an agreed price, with a deposit. Reserved units cannot be sold to anyone else.
Payments and credit
Cash, bank transfer, other. Part payments, advances and customer credit. Receipts numbered without gaps; a mistake is voided with a reason.
Margin per model and container
Trading price against landed cost for every model, and the expected and actual margin of each container. For the owner's eyes only.
Plan the next container
Enter a container before it ships: the landed cost per unit and the expected margin at your trading prices, before a single unit arrives.
Delivery tracking
A delivery note from the invoice, a driver's own list on their phone, picked up to delivered, and what to collect at the door.
Cheques and handovers
Post-dated cheques from received to cleared or bounced, who is holding the cash, and counted end-of-day handovers.
Partner profit split
Each container carries its partners' shares, and its profit is split by them, container by container.
P&L per container
Revenue, cost of goods sold, gross profit, the partner split, units sold against received, and the stock left at cost and at trade.
In detail
From the ship to the shelf to the till
01
Every unit knows what it cost
Purchase price, shipping, discount, customs duty and import charges as a percentage of CIF, RTA compliance, clearance and the rest. Keelstock shares them across every model in the container by value, and each unit carries its real landed cost.
- Duty and import charges as a percentage of CIF
- RTA and clearance per container
- Nothing lost to rounding
02
Sell in seconds, from the oldest container
A walk-in is a few taps: tiles, cart, cash or transfer, change due. A retailer gets an invoice on their terms. Stock leaves the oldest container first, and every unit keeps the cost it landed with.
- Walk-in, or a customer on terms
- Cash, transfer, or a split
- Below cost waits for a manager
03
Pre-orders before it docks
A customer reserves units from a container still on the water, at a price you agree, with an optional deposit held as their credit. The container shows what is spoken for and what is still free.
- Agreed price, optional deposit
- Reserved units stay reserved
- Fulfilled from that container when it lands
04
Plan the next container
Enter the next container while it is still a quotation. Keelstock works out the landed cost per unit and the expected margin at your trading prices, so you know whether it is worth shipping before you pay for it.
- Enter it before it ships
- Expected margin at trade prices
- Correct the costs later; unsold units re-price
05
Deliveries, and the cash that comes back
A delivery note from the invoice, a driver who sees only their own jobs, and a clear instruction at the door: collect this much, or nothing. Then a counted handover at the end of the day.
- A driver sees only their own deliveries
- Collect at the door, or nothing to collect
- Counted handover at the end of the day
How it works
Three steps, then it runs
- 1
Log the container
Its models, quantities and every cost field. Keelstock computes CIF, duty, import charges and the container total, then the landed cost of each unit.
- 2
Sell from it
POS for walk-ins, invoices for retailers, pre-orders for stock still arriving. Stock and money move together, in one step, or not at all.
- 3
See where you stand
On hand, sold, reserved and free, per model and per container, with the profit on each sale and the value still sitting in stock.

Who it's for
Small trading businesses that buy by the container
If your stock arrives in consignments and leaves one unit at a time, this was built for you.
- Importers of scooters, electronics, spare parts: anything countable with a model name.
- A team of a few: an owner watching margin, a manager approving, sellers on phones, a driver delivering.
- Anyone who sells both wholesale to retailers and retail to walk-ins.
Questions
Straight answers
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Sellers and drivers work on phones, so every screen is built phone first: one column, large targets, and a sticky button for the thing you opened it to do. The same screens grow into full tables on a laptop.
- Can my sellers see my cost and profit?
- No. Cost, margin and profit are removed before the data leaves the server for a seller or a driver, so they are not hidden in the page either. The owner sees everything; a manager sees what approving a discount requires.
- Can I use it for something other than scooters?
- Yes. A container is a container. You define your own products, prices and low-stock levels, and nothing in the way it costs or sells stock is specific to one trade.
- Can I start with a container I have already sold?
- Yes, and it is the best way to see the point. Enter its costs and the sales you made, and Keelstock shows the margin you actually earned on it.
- Is this an ERP?
- No. It is a small, opinionated tool for one trading business that buys by the container. No modules to configure, no consultants, no year of setup.
